　　本次六級聽力話題較四級聽力更偏學術，也更復雜，此次涉及科學教育與科學認知、夢境研究、生態(tài)研究、部落研究、激進者與社會進步、環(huán)境對人的影響以及美元歷史這幾個話題。男子英音，女子美音。語速適中，難度偏大，出現較多難聽懂的專有名詞，如，Lake Vostok(沃斯托克湖)，Tarahumaras(一個美國印第安部落)，Federal Reserve(美聯(lián)儲)以及其他高難度詞匯，如state of affairs(事態(tài))，radicalism(激進主義)，susceptible(易受影響的)，plagued(被侵擾的)，stigma(羞辱)等

　　主要出題點如下：

　　1. 文章開頭。例如，長對話2，Question 5：What do both speakers think of dreams?(兩個說話者都是怎么認為夢境的呢?)的答案來自文章開頭句：M: Do you think dreams have special meanings? W: No. I don't think they do. M: I don't either, … (男：你認為夢境有特別的意義嗎?女：不，我不那么認為。男：我也不……)再如，短文2，Question 12：Why did James Copeland want to study the American Indian tribe – Tarahumaras?(為什么James Copeland想要研究美國印第安部落Tarahumaras?)答案來自文章開頭句：The idea to study the American Indian tribe – Tarahumaras, came to James Copeland in 1984 when he discovered that very little research had been done on their language.(1984年，當James Copeland發(fā)現關于美國印第安部落Tarahumaras的語言的研究十分稀少時，他產生了研究這個部落的想法。)

　　2. 提示詞。例如，演講2，Question 20：What does the speaker say Fred should do first to improve his quality of life?(演講者說，Fred應該先做什么來提升他的生活質量?)的答案句——the first thing he'll need to do is recognize what has been going on all these years.(他需要做的第一件事請是意識到他這些年都發(fā)生了什么事。)中包含明顯的強調詞the first;又如，演講3，Question 22：What does the speaker say about the American dollar bill? (關于美元紙幣，作者說了什么?)答案所在句——… but few people indeed can accurately describe the world's most powerful, important currency.(但是很少有人真正能夠精確地描述這個世界上最強有力、最重要的貨幣。)之前出現了明顯轉折提示詞but;再如，演講3，Question 24：Why did the new American government mint only coins for common currency?(為什么美國新政府只鑄造硬幣來當做通貨呢?)的答案句——Because of this lack of faith, the new American government minted only coins for common currency.(因為缺少信譽，新的美國政府只鑄造硬幣作為通貨。)其中既有明顯的原因提示詞because of，也有only這樣的強調詞。

　　主要考點如下：

　　1. 細節(jié)定位。例如，長對話2后Question 8：What did psychologist Sigmund Freud say about adults' dreams?(心里學家弗洛伊德關于成年人的夢境是怎么說?)，又如，短文1后的Question 9：What did the scientists first use to discover Lake Vostok in the 1970s?(科學家最先用什么在二十世紀七十年代發(fā)現了沃斯托克湖?))

　　2. 原因考察。比如，長對話2，Question 6：Why didn't the woman's grandmother take her scheduled flight?(這個女人的祖母為什么不乘坐預定的航班呢?)，又如短文3，Question 12：Why did James Copeland want to study the American Indian tribe – Tarahumaras?(James Copeland為什么想要研究美國印第安部落Tarahumaras?)

　　3. 信息推測。例如，演講2后Question 21：What does the speaker say about the psychiatrists?(關于精神病學家，演講者說了什么?)這道題的答案需要結合最后一段的前兩句話推測出來。第一句話——It’s no surprise that doctors as a profession suffer a lot of ill health, because they spend their life around sick people.(職業(yè)醫(yī)生本身也會有很多健康問題，這并不令人吃驚，因為他們畢生都在于病人相處。)第二句——Psychiatrists have a higher incidence of suicide in their profession for related reasons.(精神病學家自殺發(fā)病率較其他人高，也是出于相關的原因。)根據這兩句句意，可以知道，精神病學家自殺率較高，也是像前面提到的職業(yè)醫(yī)生一樣，受到病人的影響。
