For example, showing strong interest in idols can meet/satisfy our curiosity, upgrade our spirit status and diversify our life. However, the opponents(反對(duì)者) point out that celebrity craze can have unhealthy side-effects(副作用). It’s very likely that modern people sometimes become excessively reliant on(對(duì)…過(guò)度依賴) behaviors of those to whom they follow closely at the expense of(以…為代價(jià)) their wealth and independence.
